Igueing up to the event, where they were set to perform, was quite simply something that got to me. I had been announced as one of the early, internationalh iroas, and were the first group to arrive at the event. I was also one of the last ones to leave. I had just about given up on life as a self-consciously "conventional" person. But then, there was a reminder that I was still alive and vibing. And that, my friends, was more than I could handle. I was so excited for the mummies to come out and play that I couldn't wait to get home and watch them on tv. I was also eager to catch the final performance of the day. I made it a goal to go to the concert and see all the people in the audience before it ended and be like "what a amazing experience! I'm so glad I went. " i learned a lot from these people - they were all so new to the game and were seeking listening opportunities. I think what made the experience for me was the intensity of the music and the way it could make you feel. I never felt so alive or so connected to anything in my life. I'm not saying that it wasn't worth the wait, but I felt like I was in a dream.
